Accessing the Download Page
E-Mail with the Download Link
Immediately after your purchase you have received an e-mail from us with a download link. From that download link you can download the full version of the purchased software and updates up to one year after purchase. No login is required to access the download site. No activation, key, code or license file, etc. is needed to run the software downloaded from that link. To download an update, please download and install the complete package of the new version.
If you cannot find this e-mail, please look also in your Spam or Bulk mail folder.
Do NOT download the free trial packages on the download page of our public web site. These are trial versions for users who have not (yet) purchased a QCAD Professional or QCAD/CAM license.
Recover Lost Download Link
If you cannot find the e-mail with your download link anymore you can use our installer recovery service to recover your download links or your lost QCAD installation files.
Expiration of the Download Link
The download link remains valid for one year, so you can download the latest version of QCAD Professional or QCAD/CAM anytime for one year. After one year, your access to the download area expires and you will get an appropriate message when attempting to use the download link.
Buy Once, Use Forever
The software itself does not have an expiry date. You can continue to use the downloaded and installed version for as long as you like (buy once, use forever). Please backup the downloaded installer file in case you switch computers or need to re-install the software in the future.
Updating a License
If your access to the download area has expired, you can renew your QCAD Professional or QCAD/CAM license to keep accessing new versions of the software (and optionally e-books). To buy an update, you can simply purchase a new QCAD Professional or QCAD/CAM license and receive a 30% update discount. You will receive an e-mail with a discount coupon code a few days before your access to updates expires.

Add the product you wish to update to the shopping cart. Note that there is no separate product for the update.
During the checkout, please enter the update discount code in the field Discount and click Go to apply your 30% update discount.
The discount coupon is valid for all QCAD Professional and QCAD/CAM products including e-books.
