How to make image print normally in PDF
I've attached 2 files, one is the original DXF file and one is just that file exported as a PDF. You'll see my company's logo is on there. When I print from the DXF file, the logo prints fine, but when I print from the PDF it just prints a black rectangle where the logo should be. This is a problem to me as I will frequently send PDFs to customers.
I can't work out how to stop this, can anyone help?

I printed your pdf without any problems. Please doublecheck your pdf reader (?) settings to print a pdf.matt____jackson wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 12:00 pm... but when I print from the PDF it just prints a black rectangle where the logo should be. Oh really?! Didn’t see that one coming. I’m using a Mac and just open it with the stock Preview app. Is there something I should change? What PDF reader did you use?

Dummy question here, but you mean physically printing off right? This is a really weird one if so then.
Any ideas at all?

I checked different reader - none of them had a problem with your pdf. I'm on Win10.

Re: How to make image print normally in PDF
Ok, thanks for the replies. At least it’s not an issue with QCAD.
I have absolutely no idea where to go from here!! Lol.

Re: How to make image print normally in PDF
If you can't find the setting in your current pdf reader which could (?) cause the problem then just download an other free pdf reader from the www. Do not change the default settings and print the pdf. See what happens ...matt____jackson wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 9:07 pmI have absolutely no idea where to go from here!! Lol.

Re: How to make image print normally in PDF
Hi
I don't know if this is significant but the image seems to me to be a PNG with transparency. I don't know how these normally work but it looks like it is uniform black with a transparent background. If you edit that to remove the transparency then you might get a result.

To check the image entity of the dxf in Qcad we need your image file too.
These are not stored in the dxf.
file:
/Users/Matt/Pictures/Work/Logos/Jacksons/Black Logo.png
