Re: script collection for layer config, multiprint, reconcile...
Hi Olly.
Thank you for the detailled report. Unfortunately I have no idea what's wrong: directory structure looks perfect to me and QCad is the same version as mine (except Linux instead of MacOS).
I'll ask Andrew.

olly: What are you trying to do with the selection widget? Perhaps you can use the selection filter for now (View > Selection Filter).

Re: script collection for layer config, multiprint, reconcile...
Hi Andrew,
yes I use it every day
From complete CAD-Drawings from my costumers I extract elements for milling, drilling etc. So i have to delete all entities are not needed!
Selectionfilter is perfect for specifying circles of the same size to mark them with a specified tolerance.
Select Widget has not the flexibility of Selectionfilter!
The Advantage is deleting quickly unnecessary Entities.
After selecting all elements the menu shows only existing Entities, so its easy to select for example all text und delete it.
And no need to search for Points if there are no Points in the drawing.
My wish would be to work with a Menu in Selectionfilter of that kind

Hi smf
the standalone widget worked perfect before the actual Qcad version the black window maybe results from dark mode ?

Hi olly,
I never tested dark mode - but I doubt standard components would have that impact. Could you test dark mode switched off?

I've added selection counters to the entity combo for the next release, so it can be used to determine how many entities of a given type are selected: I hope that's helpful for your use case.olly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 9:59 pmAfter selecting all elements the menu shows only existing Entities, so its easy to select for example all text und delete it.
