Salve, sto valutando se far acquistare una multilicenza dalla mia società ma avrei bisogno di capire se sia possibile importare font non compresi tra quelli standard di QCAD. In concreto, provando ad aprire un file contenente caratteri come Helvetica e Geneva il software cambia i caratteri non riconosciuti in Arial ma antepone ad ogni testo le proprietà del font sostituito, rendendo il tutto di fatto illeggibile. Ho anche provato a copiare detti font in formato ttf nella cartella dei font di QCAD ma senza esito.
Spero che qualcuno possa essermi d'aiuto

QCAD utilizzerà i caratteri sul tuo sistema - non è necessario copiarli in una directory QCAD.
Solo nel caso in cui un font non sia installato sul tuo sistema (ma nel disegno), QCAD lo sostituirà con un altro nome di font,
se vedi sostituzioni di "punti interrogativi" in un font, questo viene attivato da caratteri font mancanti, non da QCAD,
il modo migliore per capire come QCAD gestisce il font è installare una versione di prova di QCAD Pro - è gratis ...

Tuttavia, premesso che per le prove sto in effetti già usando la versione trial, vorrei precisare che il problema si pone lo stesso anche se i caratteri Helvetica e Geneva sono presenti nella cartella font di Windows. Per consentirvi di capire meglio allego lo screenshot della visualizzazione del file DWG e quello della cartella font.

In QCAD Pro è possibile sostituire un font. Viene offerto un sostituto per "Ginevra" rispetto a "Ginevra normale"?

Geneva e Helvetica sono caratteri autorizzati e probabilmente non TTF, OTF ...
Se il sistema operativo di destinazione non ha una licenza e un codec, non verranno resi.
Presumo che Qcad / Qt non sia in grado di gestirli neanche.
Ci sono ottimi sostituti del TTF per quelli.

Anch'io credo - per quela che è la mia esperienza - che sia un problema di "similarità" apparente nel nome del carattere. IL disegno lo hai generato tu con un programma diverso o ti è stato fornito da terzi?. Nel secondo caso, se è possibile, potresti far sostituire a loro - per prova - il carattere con uno che si adatta abbastanza alle spaziature, che hai sicuramente nel pacchetto dei font del tuo computer, per vedere se il problema persiste.
