Colors in QCAD?

Post by GUS » Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:22 pm

Hi - I am new to QCAD (been using an old Visio 5.0 (1997) CAD program). In looking over the QCAD user interface & reading the User Ref Manual, I find no mention of colored lines or adding color infill to shapes or blocks. Does QCAD provide for colored dwgs??
Thanks, Gus

Hello GUS

Welcome to the forum, the place for all (or most) answers

Colors in QCAD are handled through layer properties: create a layer for each color or line characteristic you want

The active layer is also responsible to infill shapes. Just check "Fill" and it's done ...
