File is empty after saving it

Post by Macace » Fri Jul 22, 2022 7:47 am

Hi, I am using the community edition. Saved a file and got the warning message (Teigha) saying something about layers and entities been saved as white. Now when I open the file I get and empty document but I can see the layers I created for this drawing. I put a lot of hours on this drawing, can somebody help me recover it.

Using latest version of qcad and windows 11.

Hi,
unfortunately the provided drawing contains only a 150 by 200 rectangle ........... nothing else. If you haven't turned off Autosave in Qcad then there is a very very slightly chance that an Autosave file still exist. Check the folder where the drawing was saved for a file named ~Parte 1.dxf
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Thanks for taking a look. I could not find an autosave file. I guess I will have to start all over. Many thanks
