[solved] Entered Rectangle coordinates at command line but dimensions are different

Post by justlearning » Sat Jun 12, 2021 6:55 pm

Hello (Newbie Alert)

Using the Rectangle Tool I clicked on the first point and entered the following coordinates: @7 5/8",4'-6 3/8

But when I use the dimension tool the I get 7 5/8 which is correct but instead of 4'-6 3/8 I get 3'5 5/8

Any clue is welcome.

Thanks

Using QCad Community 3.26.4 on Winodows 10
Drawing unit: Inch
Paper unit: Inch
Measurement system: Imperial

Dimension Settings > Label Format >
Format: Architectural
Precision: 0' -0 1/16"

I figured it out. Coordinate inputs where incorrect of course. Using the following worked

@7 5/8",-4'6 1/2
