Good morning
I have been successfully printing documents that I have drawn. Occasionally I get caught trying to print white on white paper and of coarse it doesn't print. I set to to print black only and I'm good to go. How ever for the attached file which was drawn by someone else I can't get the text or dimension to print in black , grayscale, or colour. If I change a text from romans to ariel it shows up in the print . This would be a very tedious change as there is a lot text. And I don't know what to do with the dimensions. Any thoughts?

Re: Faint printing
The text labels in font "romans" are on layer "0-EX-TEXT-096". This layer has its lineweight set to "default".
You can change the default lineweight under
Edit > Application Preferences > Graphics View > Appearance > Default lineweight
If this is set to 0.00mm (i.e. as thin as possible depending on the printer and printer driver), the lines might simply be too thin to show up on the print.
If you do decide to change that font, this does not have to be tedious. You can simply use
Edit > Substitute Fonts

Re: Faint printing
Hi,
Maybe you want to edit several text with unsupported markup like 'xqc;' or 'xql;'.
In fact '\pxqc;' or '\pxql;' and yes the 'x' may look like it is followed by a short underscore . (See RomanS.cfx Glyph 0x0078)
See menu Edit >> Find/Replace (RP)

Re: Faint printing
Good afternoon
Thanks, changing the default to a thicker line solve my issue.
This being said CVH suggest I look for xqc or xql and replace them as they are unsupported. I see these notations in property editor text. What is this? Some code for that font? Sorry but I don't know what these mean and what would I replace them with?

Re: Faint printing
I am sure it is not xqc;OFFICE ... starting with an empty line.
I think it is just OFFICE ...
Probably from another CAD application and I know these are skipped and not treated as intended by QCAD.
Now \P stands for Newline and that is accepted disregarding upper or lower case.
The downside of removing these is that it alters the file for the person you got the file from.
In special how the text was formatted.
Then again, If you align these first as intended under QCAD and adjust all so that it looks ok then any CAD application should be able to read that.
Find/Replace (RP) .. Find: \pxqc; .. Replace with: Nothing

I assume this is a markup where \pxqc; means centered and \pxql; means left aligned.

With empty space for example.
