I have attached a file that causes my controller to go off into the weeds on line number 158. It travels on the X axis out to around 65mm, which is far off of the work and then travel back past -150mm, which crashes the tool.
Now, it looks to me like that should not happen with that line, which is "G2 X19.933 Y-3.2281 I65.4309 J69.1538". I think that my controller is choking on the file, but before I go and make a stink with the vendor, I wanted to check with you guys. This line is setting the radius of an arc, and should not travel the head out to X=65.4. Is that how you read it?
For what it's worth, the controller is a cheap RMHV3.1 like the one in this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075HBB8VJ
It has been reliable so far. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: This gcode causes my controller to go off into the weeds
I'd replace the offending arc with a straight line (it's an arc with a length of about 3mm and a radius of 95mm):
Small arcs with large radii often cause that kind of problem, although I'm surprised that it already starts at that ratio. Usually that's the case with radii in the area of 10'000+.

Thanks for that. I tried it on a MASSO controller and everything works just fine there, so it's certainly the controller. That's what you get with the el'cheapo Chinese junk. I am replacing the controller with one of these: https://buildbotics.com/product/113/bui ... controller
At lease I will be able to get support. I am tossing the old one in the trash.
Thanks,
Chuck
