I'm a home DIYer and retired. My background is a software/test engineer and I've used AutoCad for years. Now that I'm retired (did you get I'm retired? ) I've been looking for CAD software that is somewhat intuitive for use on laying out woodworking projects to ensure my dimensions are correct. So far, QCad seems to be my best fit. I've gotten more done in a couple of hours than I have any other software I've tried.
I look forward to more experimentation with QCad. Take care and I look forward to chatting.
