Hi from the Mother City, ZA (aka Cape Town)

Greetings from a new QCAD user. As an electrical engineer and electronics hobbyist I find mechanical enclosure design one of the big challenges to completing an electrical project. There are tools out there for laying out electrical cabinets, but for designing panels and boxes in 2D for home-grown projects I think I have found the right tool in QCAD. This is a journey of discovery, to see how QCAD integrates with the pcb design tools I use. This forum is going to be a great support resource for that journey.
