Hello
I had to change my OS and lose everything i had.
I have kept my opt file witch contains 12 folders and 75 files and also the run file qcad-3.16.5-pro-linux-x86_64.run
I don't have anymore the original downloaded file.
I,m not very familiar with the use of the terminal , but i have tried many things without success.
If i run the "run" file, it starts to execute at a veeerrry slow rate, for hours without any result.
I have tried with the "run" file in different folder.....
Maybe i forgot to save a kind of "install" file ?
I would need the exact command to write in the terminal.
Tank you

You are very likely opening the run file in a text editor instead of running it.
You can find detailed installation instructions at:
