just bit the bullet and purchased Qcad, I have installed it on my mac no problem runs fine.
I cannot install the 64 bit (ver3.26.0) on either of my windows machine, win 7 and win 10. I get the following message "This app can't run on your machine, check with the software publisher"
also how do I get back to the page to download the installation files.
thanks in advance
Martin

Re: windows install
Please double-check that your Windows is 64bit. This sounds like you are trying to run the 64bit QCAD package on a 32bit Windows. Note that the actual system architecture is irrelevant, it's the operating system that needs to match.sundancermartin wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 6:04 pmI cannot install the 64 bit (ver3.26.0) on either of my windows machine, win 7 and win 10. If you are not sure what Windows you are running, please refer to:

An e-mail was sent to you directly after purchase with a link to your download area where you can download the full version of the software and the e-book if applicable. The link is valid until one year after purchase. The e-mail also states until when the link stays valid.sundancermartin wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 6:04 pmalso how do I get back to the page to download the installation files.
No key or activation of any kind is required. The download link can also be used to download the software / e-book again and to download updates until one year after your purchase.
If you cannot find this e-mail, please look also in your Spam or Bulk mail folder.
The e-mail subject is "Order / Commande / Bestellung" + your order number. Please keep in mind that you might have used a different e-mail account when placing your order.
You can request your download link again through our website at:
https://qcad.org/recover-lost-download-link
Do not download the free QCAD packages from our public web site as these are trial versions that cannot be turned into full versions.

Re: windows install
You're trying to install QCAD with the .msi or the .zip archive?
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: windows install
I haven't tried the zip files I have been using the exe files
Re: windows install
QCAD does't offers a .exe file - only msi and zip.sundancermartin wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:09 pmI haven't tried the zip files I have been using the exe files
You are familiar with a zip installation? Try it - It's easy ...
deinstall the msi version
Download the zip file (Archive) from your download link,
extract the file to C:\Program Files,
this will create a new folder below Program Files. Folder name qcad-3.26.0-pro-win64
open this folder with FileExplorer (Windowsexplorer) and start QCAD with a double click on qcad.exe
