Viewports in common Block

I discovered that one can add Viewports to common Blocks.

Normally Viewports are intended to be inserted in Layout Blocks.
One can not add a Viewport of a part of Model_Space to the Model_Space Block itself.
That will show no preview at all and on placement we get an exception warning.
'Cannot create viewport in model space.'
But one can add a Viewport to a common Block, it shows a preview and there is no exception on placement.
This is probably not 'intended behaviour'.
If one inserts such a block in Model_Space then the Viewport area doesn't display the content.
Not in model view, nor on paper.
The Viewport contour is handled just the same as on a Layout.
Tested/created with QCAD Pro 3.27.6.0 Win7 32bit msi installer.
PS: The behavior of the file is exactly the same under 3.27.8
