Windows 10 / Huawei Mate Book Pro 2020 / Qcad ver 3.26.4.0
I frequently superimpose chimney designs over architects' drawings supplied as jpgs. This works fine with an old laptop I have with a 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. However I recently bought a Huawei Mate Book Pro 2020 with a high res 3000 x 2000 screen and am encountering what appear to be a resolution / layer conflict.
Basically, whenever my cursor is over the jpg, anything I draw disappears behind it and the Bring to Front / Send to Back tool doesn't work.
The "fix" I have discovered is to fade the jpg down to about 80 which makes my drawing visible but unfortunately also causes the jpg to flicker in a rather distracting manner.
I have read several accounts of cad software struggling with 4k screens, so my Huawei was probably not a sensible buy! However it would be useful to know if this particular issue can be fixed since I am delighted with the way everything else works.
I attach a file I am working on together with its jpg. Screen-shots available also if they would help.
