[solved] text tool issue

Hi, I have an issue with the text tool where switching font height sometimes makes qcad unresponsive for a few minutes.
I described the issue in a the bugtracker.
Such bugs are probably difficult to resolve and/or system dependent.
Can someone reproduce this? See the steps in my last comment listed in the bug.

Followed your steps by the letter.
2 >> 200: no problem
200 >> 2: none what so ever.
Win7Pro 32bit, QCAD Pro 3.25.2.7

Thanks for checking. To be sure, by local font-height I mean the input box at top middle of the text tool window. Because in your screenshot is reversed from mine.

Tried both ...
Shot is from the second trial to show the text is in the preview (and still selected blue/white).

Never understood why the the text preview has a fixed scale.

Similar as the preview of a hatch has a fixed scale but doesn't scale what is previewed.
With text it does

So,
3 methods work fine:
- both in the texteditor
- presetting the props and altering in the texteditor.
that make up a large set of combinations and none had any lag.

Very recent there was a topic about less threads may be more ...

Well, I spent a lot of time testing this and now my only option left is to reinstall the OS. Too bad I can not pinpoint the issue.

edit: After reinstall the problem was gone.
