Version: 3.24.3.0 (3.24.3)PRO, Architecture: x86_64 with Windows 10
Issue: Inserted Block is still somehow linked to the layer from which it was created.
I have two layers:
1) Main Floor - Blue
2) 1st Floor Magenta
I created a block named "door_30inch" while the "Main Floor" layer (blue) was active.
I inserted it onto/into the "1st Floor layer" shown in white circle. Its selected so the color is different but the unselected color of the block is blue as is the "main Floor" and NOT the color of the inserted layer (Magenta)
Two Issues:
1) BOTH the "Main Floor" AND the "1st Floor" must be visible for the block "door_30inch" to be visible.
2) The block color is "stuck" on that of the "Main Floor" from which it was originally created.
File History: The original file was created in Autocad Release 13 (LT95) and recently imported into QCAD.
Assuming I did some thing wrong, can any suggest why this is?
Thanks
John

Re: Inserted Block Layer / Color Confusion
Each block reference is on a layer (say "A").
Each entity that is part of the block is on a layer (say "B").
Both layers "A" and "B" need to be visible to make an entity that is part of the block visible.
