Import DWG files from AutoCad to QCAD.

Post by poloksp » Wed Dec 11, 2019 3:55 pm

Hello,

we have just purchased pro licence for QCAD (3.23.0.0) running on win 7 x32 and we are encountering some issues. We have bunch of files created in AutoCad and we are trying to open them in QCAD, but it's impossible to see the drawing in full. Every block is visible when we edit it, but is not visible in any other case. Also trying to export it to bitmap, the image is just black. I am attaching sample file and screenshots.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards

The drawing contains an OLE object in model space. OLE is a Windows technology that allows a 3rd party application to render contents embedded in another application (in this case Autocad).

QCAD does not support OLE.
