today, i encountered some strange problems/bugs with qcad that i've never had before. Especially Maybe it has to do with this recent windows updates:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... de-updates
it is an intel i7-8650U cpu ("Kaby Lake Refresh U 4+2"), i.e. it is affected by the intel microcode-update.
- snapintersection works horribly; some intersections are not found at all, even after seconds without moving the mouse (did not have ANY troubles with this before)
- selectrectangle, when used from right to left side, also selected entities that were only intersected. Works only on some objects now
- selectintersected, same thing
seems they all have to do with calculation of intersections...
does anyone have the same troubles? And any hints how to fix it?
[solved] sudden problems with some (intersection) tools...

Re: sudden problems with some (intersection) tools...
As always, please attach the drawing file.
Re: sudden problems with some (intersection) tools...
sorry-
here's the file. I know the file is "dirty" as it was exported back and forth, but shouldn't it work nevertheless..? Have use qcad alot for such stuff and even larger/dirtier files, without any performance or stability issues.
Try to find an intersection in the bottom left region, blue line vs yellow polyline (the circles were placed manually). Or try to select the blue lines all-in-one with TR or TX. Does not work for me.
edit: deleted file again

Re: sudden problems with some (intersection) tools...
The drawing contains 3D elements.
Misc > Modify > Flatten Drawing to 2D
