QCAD Pro, 3.21.2.0, revision f7fc4f9, Windows 10 64 bit.
I'm unable to do a simple Copy & Paste from/to same drawing or from 1 drawing to another.
Used Ctrl C/V and menu selection, both with and without reference. No luck.
I have searched help forums, followed all instructions, doesn't work.
Move,Copy works fine on same drawing.
Did a re-install of QCAD, reboot of PC, no change.
I'm sure this worked properly on previous version.
Test file attached.

Re: Simple Copy Paste Problem
I can't reproduce that - works just fine from drawing to drawing or drawing to another drawing.
Please share with us step by step how you try to accomplish this task. Thanks.

Re: Simple Copy Paste Problem
Please also attach the drawing you're pasting to - could be locked layers, etc.
Also: did you zoom in / out after pasting? Perhaps your zoom level or drawing unit is just completely different in the drawing you are pasting to.

Re: Simple Copy Paste Problem
I did post the simple file I was using as a test.
It's a new file opened as a test only, with another file opened as a new file with unchanged parameters.
It's 3 boxes. I can Move/Copy fine, cannot Copy or Paste with keyboard or menu options.

Re: Simple Copy Paste Problem
Husky, did this work for you on my drawing?
More info:
Uninstalled program and all pieces with "Iobit Uninstaller".
Removed all Registry entries for QCAD manually.
Looked for and didn't find any leftover QCAD directories.
Shutdown and re-started computer.
Installed QCAD 3.19.2.0.
Opened "Copy Test.dwg"
Selected all lines on 1 box with mouse, they show selected.
Pressed "Ctrl C". Noted no ability to select reference point presented unless Copy With Reference.
De-selected lines with mouse click off box
Pressed "Ctrl V"
Shows locator crosshairs for paste position selection. Doesn't show object lines as expected.
Left Click for Paste.
Nothing happens except crosshairs to show where next paste will be.
All done on same layer, not locked, same zoom.
Same process using Copy with Reference, paste shows a point object in Paste location, no data.
Same process with Paste on a new document shows no result as well.
As mentioned earlier, Move/Copy works fine but can't copy to new drawing.
As I understand various posting, what I'm doing should work. I'm also sure it did in earlier editing on a real drawing.
Thanks for any insight in advance.

Re: Simple Copy Paste Problem
Thank you.
Fishing in muddy water ..... which scale is used for inserting the copy?
Edit:
Regardless that QCAD will use CP for copy and PS for paste Ctrl C and Ctrl V should work too. Is Ctrl C etc working with other Programs on your system?
Yes.

Re: Simple Copy Paste Problem
Fixed!
It was either something in the configuration file or it was corrupt.
Started QCAD after deleting the old config file and everything is fine. Now I just have to re-create my environment but the issue is resolved.
Thanks for your input.
After your last post showing the Scale/Rotation/Layer tool bar (which I couldn't find) I decided to start with the default config so you indirectly pointed me in the direction of a solution.
