Clicking on existing drawing starts QCAD normally. Any attempt to add a layer or create a new file is causing the QCAD to crash.
When starting the QCAD itself the process crashing immediately after some modules loading and CheckForUpdates.

Can you start it without -enable-script-debugger?

In any case, please try to reset your configuration as follows:
- Terminate QCAD
- Open a Finder window.
- Choose menu Go > Go to Folder...
- Enter ~/.config/QCAD and click Go.
- You should now see the file QCAD3.ini.
- Move that file to your Desktop.
- Restart QCAD
- Please attach your file QCAD3.ini from your Desktop, so we can look into possible causes of the problem.

Negative.andrew wrote:Can you start it without -enable-script-debugger?
Same result.

If at "QCAD First Start" menu Background Color is set as White, QCAD crashes at every start. Clicking existing files starts QCAD normally with white background. No new layers or sublayers can be added.andrew wrote:In any case, please try to reset your configuration as follows:

If Background Color is leaved as Black, QCAD starts fine, and new files can be created but every attempt to add a layer or sublayer is causing crash.

Thanks for the details. Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce either of those problems here so far. Do you get a crash report? If so, please attach its contents or a screenshot, thanks. Also, what is your exact version of macOS? 10.13.0, 10.13.1 or 10.13.2?
