Re: Tick mark extension
sancyk,
This is not readily feasible with QCAD.
The dimension line is rendered the same length as the measured size.
One could explode the dimension into line art and text and adapt the line art.
But then it is no longer a dimension entity and there is no longer a relation with the measured value.
Probably feasible in other applications but for now I can not locate the exact DIMSTYLE variable ...

Re: Tick mark extension
... DIMDLE: Sets the distance the dimension line extends beyond the extension line when oblique strokes are drawn instead of arrowheads ...
The variable occurs in any dxf generated by QCAD but it is always set to '0.0' units.
Even when set textual in a dxf to some value the rendering by QCAD remains the same.

Re: Tick mark extension
Thanks. Will do.
I currently use arrows because i don't like the tick marks without the extension. I hate arrows but I hate ticks without the extensions more.
