[solved] Dimensions in feet

Post by Lebedick » Thu Dec 22, 2022 5:26 am

QCad Pro 3.27.8
I am trying to have my drawing's dimensions display as inches only.
Currently, if I enter , say, 62" as my line length then either check the length with "Info" or actually try to add the dimension on the drawing it shows 5' 2".
I have all settings in "Drawing Preferences" and "Application Preferences" set to inches.
I have even tried "Convert drawing unit" to convert from Feet to Inches, no go.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanx!

I wouldn't go that far but you get what you set ...

You may try a different Dimension Label below Drawing Preferences / Dimension / Dimension Settings / Label Format

These are your options on a 62 unit measurement ...

I have all settings in "Drawing Preferences" and "Application Preferences" set to inches.
FYI: "Application Preferences" is meant for new drawing and a few extra QCAD settings - it has no effect on the actual drawing. Relevant for the actual drawing is only "Drawing Preferences".
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
