Solved-Aligning objects in viewports
How can I align objects between several viewports? For example, if I have four viewports in one drawing sheet arranged two wide by two high and each viewport shows a different elevation of the same building how can I properly align the elevations horizontally and vertically with each other? In a viewport, I can't select an individual ground line or wall line so I can't see how the ALIGN command can be used.

This is a bit of a workaround, but you can align your viewports, so if you kept a consistent distance between your viewport border and one of the edges of each part of your model (the bottom of each, for instance), this would indirectly cause your models to be aligned. Does that make sense?

Hi,
If you then "Set Relative Zero" [RZ] to a convenient point you can align a viewport precisely with "Coordinate" [SX] in no time .
In a selected Viewport entities become snappable:
