Cursor Format (white indicators)

Post by peter734 » Tue Aug 09, 2022 10:25 pm

Setting up Qcad on a new laptop, Windows 11, Qcad Version 3.27.6

When I select a tool, some additional white graphics appears around the crosshair intersection.
It looks like it might be some useful info, but the markings are so small as to be unreadable. (see the attached jpg)
As it is, it is somewhat distracting.
After some experimenting I see I can turn it off by selecting "use system cursor" in the application preferences.

However, I would like to know what those white marks are and if they have a useful purpose. How can I make them readable?
Thanks
Pete

This is not information but indeed an indication that the custom mouse cursors of QCAD do not work on your system and you need to use the system mouse cursors instead.
