Dimension

Post by SteveO » Mon Aug 01, 2022 4:44 pm

When I use the dimension tool, I would like to add dimensions without the dimension lines. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Yes but I wouldn't recommended that: Explode the dim and delete the dimension lines.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Yes indeed, I think that the question should be which of the dimension lines should be omitted.

Nope. The last time I checked a dimension consists out of a Dimension Line, Extension Lines, Text and arrows or ticks.

ok, so take away the dimension lines and you're left with text, extension lines and arrows/ticks, the extension lines and arrows/ticks are pretty useless in my opinion without dimension lines, so delete those and you're left with text. This is all my opinion obviously.
