Hatch with pattern and background solid color

Post by Kinzy » Fri Jun 03, 2022 5:57 pm

Hello,

In my plans I prefer to highlight the structure by using a darker fill color together with the pattern, but I can't find a way to do it in QCAD. Is it possible?

Hi,
In QCAD one can adjust the Alpha channel of solid fills.
See 'Specific Properties' in the property editor with the hatch entity in selection.

And a pattern and a fill means that you need to use two hatches.

Thank you for your answer, but I was looking into having only one hatch to implement both pattern and solid background such as in ArchiCAD and Rhino 8's WIP. Maybe it could be a feature suggestion?

Indeed
A hatch with foreground, background and that with an Alpha.
If DXF support it ...
