Hello, friends!
On my mechanical drawings, I usually find the necessity of using those different types of dimensioning for diametric/radius dimensions.
I would like to know if anyone else uses these kind of dimensioning and finds that it would be a great feature for a "feature request".
For the great qcad developers team, Is this practical/doable?
Thanks!!

Re: More Radial/Diametric Dimension Types?
Hi,
However - the radial dimension with a break in the extension line is something what I really miss in QCAD. I would support a feature request.
Yes, I use them too. But ... a variant of the left example already exist in QCAD.zilmosantos wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 7:52 pmI would like to know if anyone else uses these kind of dimensioning and finds that it would be a great feature for a "feature request".

I know this is a work around, but for the extension line break you could explode the dimension and use my Polyline break symbol (Misc>Draw) on the extension line, not ideal I know.

Hi, Husky! Yes, this variant is interesting, but, at least in my opinion, having the option to make the dimension text and the extension line horizontal seems more elegant =) for mechanical drawings.
Great to know! Thanks!
