Hello,
I wonder how I can change the width of a dashed polyline.
My dashed polylines only shows dashed when the value for Global Width is set at 0.
As soon as I try to make it thicker (eg set the value at 5), the line shows continuous but not dashed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Working on Windows 10 Home,
QCAD version 3.26.4.0

Re: Dashed line - Width
Linetype patterns can only be used for standard line weights (property "Lineweight"), not custom polyline segment widths (properties "Global Width", "Start Width" and "End Width").

Re: Dashed line - Width
Hi Andrew,
thanks for your fast reply.
The widest 'Lineweight' I could see was 2.11mm, would there be a way to increase this value, say to 5 mm please?
Many thanks,

Hi,
The available 'Lineweights' are rather standard among CAD applications.
Please explain why you need a thicker patterned weight.

Re: Dashed line - Width
Hello,
I wish to show a dashed line more prominent,
the 2.11 mm line would not stand out sufficiently.
Many thanks for any other suggestions.

What represent that line? Do you have an example drawing / screenshot which shows what you are trying to accomplish?
