Is it possible to create a non-destructive crop to part of my drawing.
I am aware of Clip To Rectangle (Is destructive) and Paper Space Viewports.
I have to prepare site plans for a large rural property. One of the site plans will show the whole property. The other site plan will only show a portion of that property.
The only way that I can see this done in QCAD (in Model Space) is to make 2 copies of the property and trim the unneeded lines out of one of them.

Re: Model Space Non Destructive Crops
The only other way that I just thought of was to create a mask with a solid fill (RGB 254,254,254). by drawing two rectangles (or other shape) one inside the other and fill the space between them. Then position the mask to suit. It should work.

Re: Model Space Non Destructive Crops
If your plan is to mask it to a rectangle shape I guess the Viewport / Paper_Space solution would be the best way to go.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
