Hi,
I have some multi-layer/multi-block drawings where I'd like to place a rectangle or circle logo on the drawing and have the entities "below" the logo clipped to the entities in the logo.
I can do this by exploding the block references around the logo and manually D2-ing the entities that cross it, but is there an automatic way of doing this? That would allow me to move the logo and have the clipping update.
TIA,
Stu

Re: Clip entities beneath a layer entity?
Hi,
First: There is no above and below in QCAD, layers aren't stacked in a certain order.
Entities themself have a drawing order.
With a rectangle, yes -> Modify .. Clip To Rectangle (CLR)
With a circle, not that I know of.
Auto update, not that I know of.
