Qcad theme under Linux Mint

Post by petevick » Tue Jul 14, 2020 3:25 pm

Is there a way for Qcad to take on the theme set in Linux Mint?. Is there a manipulation that might be made in QT for example. I know that I can create a css file, but I'm not sure how I would apply elements of the Cinnamox-Heather theme that I use in Linux mint. If css is the only option then I'll have a bash at it.

QCAD is based on Qt, so you might want to google for a more generic solution:
https://www.google.com/search?q=qt+app+ ... mint+theme

Thanks for the reply Andrew.

I have Qt5 setup to use the gtk2 style, from what I've read online, this 'should' allow any QT based app to display in the current system theme. Indeed, using VLC (which is a qt app) as an example, as I change the style in qt5 setup, VLC reflects this change, but Qcad does not.

It's not a massive problem, just my ocd wanting an app to reflect the current system theme.
