I originally bought QCAd Pro about 10 years ago. I use macOS. Now with Catalina it no longer supports the 32bit QCAAD version. I downloaded the 3.24.2 QCAD Community version.
I rarely have any need to use QCAD anymore but I have a drawing that I want to export as an svg so I can import into Inkscape to further manipulate the layout.
It appears that the Community edition is limited and cannot export svg"s. Is this correct?
I have another MacBook with Sierra on it that my old QCAD still runs but want to upgrade.
Is my only option to buy the New Pro?
export as svg community edition

Re: export as svg community edition
Correct.
I've sent you an e-mail with an update discount code in case you want to update to the latest version.
Re: export as svg community edition
Just save as DXF. Inkscape can import DXF.
Re: export as svg community edition
I purchased the new edition of QCAD so that I don't have to deal with the 32bit version and issues with MAC's new operating systems.
