Is it possible to let thick lines look like a newspaper print (rasterized)?
E.g. turn a thick line to a polygon surrounding it? Might also be achieved by putting a "tube" around every line.

Try inksckape for artistic stuff.
rasterized pixelating brushes.
Qcad is a CAD program.
Or make poly.
Aply widths, global or local.
Explode.
I won't be all one shape but you get far.

Or...
Advanced SVG export.
not preserving geometry.
Adding space for widths.
open SVG with Inkscape.
Select all, ungroup, ungroup some more, fill&stroke.
Set stroke paint to flat.
Set stroke style to 0 width.
Save SVG
Import SVG
That is short my work around for:

Re: Giving thick lines a pattern (rasterize)
The suggested enhanceent of the Polyoffset-Tool could be a solution. But I assume it is still a request for an enhancement, right? At the moment the POLY-Offest only works on Polys and only on one side of the Poly, inside or outside and not on lines.CVH wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:59 pmOr...
