Hidden lines
OK guys I'm just starting out with CAD so bear with me. I've been a machinist for over 30 years and have drawn everything by hand. First attempt at CAD and I'm trying to draw a simple 1-2-3 block with holes in it. 3 view orthographic projection no layers. How the hell do you draw hidden lines (dashed line to represent hidden feature) for the holes?

In CAD, you'd use layers for that. Please have a look at:

I would recommend to work with layer - that is a common standard and if you are getting familiar to that technic it is very convenient to work with it.
