2 distances from 2 points to establish 3rd point
QCAD Pro 3.22.0.0. Newbie to using CAD. I got a DXF copy of the legal survey of my house and property, and am mapping other "interesting" points like trees, new garage, favourite cat sleeping places, etc. Typically, with hand drawn maps, I triangulate with distances to the spot from 2 points such as 2 corners of the house to get a third point. In QCAD, I've been drawing circles centred on those house corners with radii of those 2 distances to get to the intersection point, draw the point at the desired interection, then delete the circles (or modify them for the next point). Is there a drawing tool that does this more directly? Or a script?

No, circles is the way to go.
I've added a feature request for a new snap tool at:

Good. I thought I was missing something after RTFM a few times. I know other CAD programs can do this, from what I can browse, but I'm sticking to QCAD. I can draw a lot of circles in QCAD for the cost of those other CAD programs.
Thanks.
