Adjusting opacity of solid fill?

Post by wendi » Sat Apr 13, 2019 6:54 pm

Qcad 3.21.2.0; Win10Pro64. Is it possible to vary the opacity of a solid fill? I'd like to lightly color an area of my drawing without blocking out what is under this color. Some of the entities are color filled themselves, so putting this desired light coloring on the bottom layer doesn't really do what I want. Thanks.

No - not in the current version of QCAD.

Idea / Workaround?
You can control the opacity and size of an bitmap.
Create a bitmap in the desired color, load it in your drawing and adjust position, the size and the opacity as you need it.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Interesting idea. I'll play around with it. Thanks.
