I am used to solidworks
I am trying to figure out how to set the dimensions of an object (such as a square) the only dimensioning I seem to be able to do is to display the existing dimensions. I can't seem to find how to set relations (parallel, tangent, so on) either although that is a different question.
Is this outside of the capabilities of Qcad, or am I just missing something?

Re: How to dimension elements (Driving, not driven)
I think you might be looking for constraints or restrictions. That's not something supported or planned for QCAD. If you need two lines to be parallel, draw them parallel (e.g. with the parallel line tool) if you need them to have a certain distance, draw them with that distance, etc.

Yep, that is what I meant. Thank you for the reply and concise answer.
