(SOLVED)Simplify lay out of icons

HI ALL
I do not use a lot if the icons in the tool bars because most of my drawings are fairly
simple.
Is it possible to remove unused icons and store them in an off the screen tool bar or folder for just in case times?

Hi,
It is possible to alter default Toolbars.
Or one can group some frequently used tools in two custom Toolbars with QCAD Pro.
Displaying certain Toolbars is configurable.

For visibility in default Toolbars or the custom Toolbars see:
Menu Edit .. Application Preferences .. General .. Tool Settings.

It are settings for each QCAD tool.

For the visibility of Toolbars see:
Menu View .. Toolbars and Widgets .. Toolbars

I will experiment and see what happens. Then report back if I can achieve what I want. Widgets are a whole new world to me

Well I tried and found the experience not very intuitive.
Luckily I had made notes and was able to get back to where I started.
So my next question if you do not mind.
Can you get rid of all toolbars and run on menu only?

Hi,

Right-click on empty space in the menu bar.
Point at Toolbars or Widgets.

Turn off the Toolbars and Widgets by preference.

Also accessible under menu View .. Toolbars and Widgets

Managed to untick toolbar 1 & 2 then no more left to remove in widgets.
Is it possible to remove the others?
Or have I completely messed up?

Left - Left = CAD Tools Toolbar
Top - Left = View Toolbar
Top - Right = File Toolbar
Top - Mid = Reset Toolbar (Usually Top-Left)
Second line - right = Widgets Toolbar (Usually vertical Right - Right)
Bottom - Bottom = Status Bar (via menu View or toggle by shortcut GS)
