[Solved] Menu item persistence

Post by ryancousins » Thu Apr 22, 2021 3:49 pm

If I go to View>Toolsbars & Widgets and then either the Toolsbars or Widgets menu and then go to turn on or off certain items, the menu will close out as soon as I've made my first selection rather than stay up so I can make other changes. Is this a QT or OS determined behavior or is this something that could be changed in QCAD? It's not a big deal either way. But when I was having students go in to turn on or off certain items they had to go back through the menu chain for each change.

Yes, menus generally close after choosing an item. I think that's universal operating system behaviour indeed.

Yeah I kind of thought so. I felt like there was a program I used once that worked like that but it might just be in my head.
