On macOS, the name of the current drawing is displayed in the middle of the title bar, but it should also be a proxy icon, i.e. it should be possible to right-click on it to display the file location or reveal it in the Finder.

I can confirm that this is currently not supported by QCAD.

Note that the proxy icon is not really useful to move files but mostly to locate them quickly in the Finder.
Note that you could also provide a function “Open containing folder” in the File menu. That would be useful for other OS.
