I generated a dxf with these arcs as seen using ODADrawingExplorer
but qcad shows top view as follows

I can confirm that this is 3D data that cannot be loaded, interpreted or rendered correctly in QCAD (being 2D).

yep, I know qcad works for 2D, btw I reported as future improvement if this isn't too much breaking for backwards.
arc in dxf is a 3d entity, it has a normal vector that describe the plane which it relies while their anglestart and angleend should take in account the XY from the arbitrary axis alghoritm (https://github.com/haplokuon/netDxf/blo ... er.cs#L357).
even qcad doesn't allow to rotate the view I would expect a consistent topview for these entities, btw for what I'm using qcad actually I'm really satisfied anyway.
