Hi,
I have a suggestion and it is about a function to import a georeferenced tif image using the tfw file.
In autocad, for example, there is a tool called GEOREFIMG that can import that kind of image.

Hi, is this still not available as a feature in QCAD? I would like to have the ability to bring in any type of georeferenced image, tiff with embedded georeferencing or some other file type, and to put it in the appropriate referenced position.

No, QCAD cannot read or process geo referencing information (world files).
