(De-) Select Polgon TP

When using the (De-) Select Polgon TP tool I would like the option to be able to hold the 'shift' key down while selecting as many further polygon selections as I need to.
Hope this makes sense

Yes - that makes sense. Until you get this additional feature you could use the Option bar / Mode / "Add to the current selection":

Thanks, yes this is what I'm currently doing ... I'm just looking for quicker ways I guess
