That's interesting John. I created a circle at 0,0 and hatched with gravel. Fine. I then created a block of this and inserted that block way up at 10100, 10000. That inserted block was just fine. I then exploded that block and, yup, shows the inaccuracy as you demonstrate. Would it be worthwhile to suggest an additional option for hatch origin in the hatch dialog - that option being "Center of Selection"?? If the selection is an unusual shape then have it center of the extremities?
