I recently purchased QCAD 2D and installed on my laptop. I just got a new laptop and I can't seem to install the paid version all I get is the trial.
Do I have to buy another license?

Re: QCAD on a new computer
Hi,
See 'QCAD Professional Single User License': https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/documentation/license
Or you didn't remove the trial version before installing the paid QCAD Pro package from your personal download page.
Please follow the instructions on this page: https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/documenta ... stallation
Especially the section 'Installation from Download' for Windows or MacOS ...
... For Linux refer to https://www.qcad.org/en/component/conte ... tion-linux

No, a licence is personal and lets you install QCAD Pro on all your single user machines.
See 'QCAD Professional Single User License': https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/documentation/license
You probably installed the trial version from the common download page: https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/download

Re: QCAD on a new computer
Just a couple of questions if I may,
With a single licence can I run a copy of Qcad on my desktop and on my laptop when out and about?
If I have a Win10 licence, and change to a Mac ios later in the new, can the licence be transferred For the remains part of the the year? Or is it a new licence ?
Rgds

Re: QCAD on a new computer
The answers should be easy to find with the provided info ...
... but I'll just quote the link mentioned above:
QCAD Professional Single User License
QCAD Professional single user licenses are valid for one single user.
A license may be used to install and use QCAD Professional on multiple computers and operating systems as long as there is only one user.
https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/documentation/license
And ...
A licence doesn't end after a year, it is only the access to your personal download area with updates and snapshots that ends.
