Hardcopy or e-book?

Do you have a question you want to ask an existing QCAD user about QCAD and what you can do with it? Do you want to know if a particular feature exists? This is the place to ask.

Hardcopy or e-book?

Post by Anding » Mon Aug 19, 2019 1:06 am

Dear Andrew,

I'm assuming it's easier to work through the e-book in softcopy as I can have it open onscreen at the same time as QCAD, or I read it on my tablet at the desk, whereas a hardcopy book always needs an extra hand to hold it open. Would you agree, go for the e-book if I have no special need for a hardcopy on my bookshelf?

Many thanks,

Anding

That's a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer e-books mainly because they are searchable and you can copy content from them.

We also currently have the e-book on offer for half the price when ordered together with QCAD.
