Attaching dxf files for email in Qcad

Post by Scotty54 » Fri Mar 09, 2018 12:21 pm

Qcad is a great programme for me as a beginner in its trial version but I am unable to attach dxf files in an email for laser cutters. Is this function available in Qcad Pro? Thank you Scotty.

Thanks for your interest in QCAD.

To attach a DXF file (or any other file) to an e-mail you would have to use the "attach" function of your e-mail program. Please note that this has nothing to do with QCAD or whatever other software that was used to produce the file initially. Any problem with this would be related to the e-mail program or e-mail provider.

If your e-mail program does not allow you to attach DXF files, you might want to try and ZIP the file before attaching it. Please consult the documentation of the e-mail software in use for more information.
