Free Hatch Patterns

Post by John Hyslop » Tue Nov 12, 2019 5:02 am

Hi All

I made these hatch patterns inspired by Celtic Knot Design..
Just Copy to your Patterns folder in Qcad Metric and Imperial..
Scale by at least 25 if you're using metric
Enjoy ;-)

Here's another one I made... if using metric please scale by 25
Might be handy for architects for displaying lattice fencing...

IMAGES SHOULD SAY LATTICE NOT " LATICE " LOL

These look great, thanks.

Can these be included in future packages of the QCAD Community Edition and QCAD Professional? If so under what license terms? Credits would appear under Help > About QCAD > Credits, for example:

Hi Andrew

Absolutely and if I can help with any more just let me know..
100% free not to be sold and can be included in both versions of Qcad Free & Profesional..

Is this the right place to be posting these? wasn't 100% sure..

Loving Qcad, can't wait for next release... it's a breeze to use compared to AutoCad
I never thought I would ever say this as I've used Acad for over 30 years [2d only]...
Inventor for 3d models... fantastic work..

While I've got you is there a way to subscribe to yearly updates or do I have to wait until
nearer the time of renewal ? ...

Cheers
John

Yes, it's fine. QCAD Developers and Contributors would probably be a better fit though as patterns are not scripts or plugins.

We currently have no subscription plan. Subscriptions might create extra support effort if users forget to cancel, don't know how to cancel, etc. So for now, you'd have to purchase an update at a 30% discount about every year to stay up to date. You will receive an e-mail with a discount coupon code towards the end of the year.
