Re: Interface issue in version 3.24.2 on Windows
I see same issue as ahmed when select Dark Theme. Default Theme is fine. I know I'm using snap, but it is still same as what ahmed shows. Also, when changing theme, Apply does nothing - restart required (not stated in that dialog).

Re: COMMAND
IF there is a flashing "|" and it moves to the right when you press space bar then you are already in the command line. I remember when I first started with CP/M... I did not immediately comprehend whether I was at command prompt or in the application... was confusing where the application focus was...

Re: Proper CAD usage
I am somewhat new to CAD and have extensive Mechanical Drawing experience. When making a CAD drawing, do you still put all three views on one page? Depending, I will do exactly that. When making rough diagrams for a building then yes, absolutely - perhaps even 4 views. What I am looking for is cons...

Re: Text doesn't accept color from layer
Hi Krischu. I had a quick look at the properties of the various Text entities. The magenta colour entities (on layer "Text") have a "Text" property same as "Plain text" property - all look fine whereas those that are prefixed with "\C7;" have a black colour and not the layer colour (I use white back...

Re: Different Font Size Between AUTOCAD and QCAD
Thanks jssham. Makes a lot more sense. Can you save the original (Autocad version) in DXF format? Looks sorta like an import issue? I'm sure Andrew will figure out - I was just trying to see where the differences were. I guess ACad might save DWG files using their proprietary format(s) and even then...

Re: Different Font Size Between AUTOCAD and QCAD
jssham - question:
exactly what?? do you expect to see? Can you show what the "correct" text/font looks like and what the "incorrect" text/font looks like?
Cheers

Sublayer implicit visibility based on parent layer visibility (Solved)
Solved: [ Hi and seasons greetings. I might have lost the plot. so to speak, but I seem to remember that sublayer visibility was based on parent layer visibility. When the parent layer was hidden so were the child layers (implicitly). Am I remembering wrong? It would make sense that a child layer wo...

Block Hatch anomaly?
I can understand Andrews point in viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6831
Whilst making forward progress on a small drawing, I came across a scenario that is similar to that attached.
Same layer each entity
Create open block
close block with line
hatch
fail
Bug or by design?
Cheers

Re: Block creation problem/anomaly
Hi. Yes, absolutely a recursive block reference. (If you first explode block 1 then all works well). However, what I recorded just seems unusual (ie allowed the block 1 to be reused...?) The second issue is to see the multiple circles thrown across the screen. So, could possible be handled a little ...
